Seafood » Black Pepper Shrimp w/ "Sun-Dried" Pineapple
Spice Market's easygoing chef Anthony Ricco puts together a sauce that we think would be fantastic for any seafood. Aromatic peppercorns, fresh ginger, soy sauce and fermented black beans simmer for just a couple of minutes. Large shrimp (don't go small here - get the big guys!) are then sautéed in the sauce. Creative oven-dried pineapple chunks, crunchy jicama and ribbons of baby pea shoots add the finishing textured touches.
