About Carolyn Johnson <p> Carolyn Johnson grew up in Southern California and attended Wellesley College for degrees in Studio Art and Economics before taking a leap of faith into a whole different industry -- food service. Carolyn cooked her way around renowned Boston kitchens (with a stint at Arrows restaurant in Maine) and held the position of Chef de Cuisine after working the ranks of Jody Adams&#39; Rialto restaurant. Today, as Chef of <a href="http://www.80thoreau.com/">80 Thoreau</a> in Concord, Massachusetts, Carolyn is inspired to create her menu around local, seasonal ingredients, and is dedicated to forming relationships with those who grow, raise, or catch the restaurant&#39;s food. In her spare time, she loves hiking, traveling and home brewing beer!</p>
