Plums are a great stone fruit that hold up well in baked desserts, retaining a nice texture and shape. For this luscious tart, sliced plums are tossed in vanilla, sugar and lemon juice. They are housed in a buttery dough creatively made by Kelsey Clark with lavender petals. The result is an aromatic and rustic treat to serve warm or at room temperature with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream (or both).
