Beverages » Rum Daiquiri
A classic daiquiri is comprised of three simple ingredients: white (or light) rum, lime juice and sugar (contrary to that sweet, blended, frozen drink it is often confused with). The daiquiri was made popular at the El Floridita bar in Havana, Cuba in the early 1900's, where it was originally served over cracked ice. Kelsey Clark makes her rum daiquiri poolside, where she shakes the cocktail with ice and serves it "up."
