Brooklyn Park Tater Daze is a unique festival where residents pay homage to the humble potato. Seminars led by wine and food superstars such as Mario Batali, José Andrés, Jacques Pépin, Gail Simmons, and Joshua Wesson provide a world-class experience.
The "Taste of Brunswick” featuring dozens of the area’s finest restaurants and cafés, as well as entertainment by Maine bands. A portion of the proceeds from the “Taste” will benefit the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program.
The Annual Strawberry Dessert Recipe Contest at Verrill Farm returns for another year of competitive cooking and baking. Bring your best strawberry dessert to the festival, along with a recipe, and enter to win prizes.
This all day event will emulate the bright Caribbean sunshine with a great combination of culture,sumptuous food, entertainment and great music. Professionals and amateurs will try their hand at three dishesfrom a variety of Caribbean countries. Each dish will be judged on taste, presentation, and creativity.
