New this year to the Culinary Guild calendar, the 5 o’clock Club is an opportunity for members to gather informally over complimentary appetizers and discounted signature cocktails provided by the host restaurateur or chef, who also gives a short culinary-related presentation. Since 2009, the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council has been offering weekly food tours in various dining establishments and attractions throughout the Blackstone Valley. Almost 50 restaurants and attractions have participated in the program that generally consists of a demonstration of how foods or drinks are made and a meal.
