Techniques » Vanilla Bean Sugar
Vanilla-flavored sugar is a neat idea for baking. Keep a jar on hand for those times when you want to kick up the vanilla quotient. Experiment with it in your favorite family recipes or use it in Sunrise Fruit & Nut Cookies.

Just give them a quick rinse, pat dry and put in the sugar just like in the video. Also, some lavender can add a little more to your sugar along with the vanilla! :)
