Smoothies are delicious but very often they're deceptively high in fat. This kid-friendly version, made by Denise Drower Swidey, is made with high-protein, low-fat Greek yogurt, fresh strawberries, blueberries, bananas and orange juice. Add agave nectar or honey if you need more sweetness. Nutrient-rich ingredients such as heart-healthy flaxseed oil or vitamin-packed wheat germ can easily be added to get vitamins and minerals into children and adults.
