New this year to the Culinary Guild calendar, the 5 o’clock Club is an opportunity for members to gather informally over complimentary appetizers and discounted signature cocktails provided by the host restaurateur or chef, who also gives a short culinary-related presentation. An annual holiday tradition, the Cookie Swap brings together the Guild’s best bakers under one roof for a little harmless cookie competition. Each member brings four dozen of their favorite cookies, along with the recipe, to swap with fellow members. The Guild provides containers to take the cookies home, as well as appetizers and wine.
