The team of Executive Chef Wali Ahmad showcaes the foods of coasts of India. The menu includes dishes from Mumbai on the West coast to Kolkatta on the east coast.&nbsp; The original <a href="http://www.tamarind-bay.com/bistro.html"><span class="style5">Tamarind Bay Bistro &amp; Bar</span></a>, located in the heart of Harvard Square, is changing the perception of Indian Dining in the greater Boston area. Started in June of 2004, Tamarind Bay was awarded <strong>Restaurant of the Year </strong>award for the year 2004 by <strong><em>Boston Phoenix </em></strong>and <strong>Best New Restaurant </strong>by <strong><em>Boston Globe.</em></strong></p>
