Dessert & Baked Goods » Indian Pudding
The history of Indian Pudding can be traced back to the 1650s when milk became prevalent and molasses arrived on the scene courtesy of the Caribbean. They received our salt cod in return for their valuable sweet supply of molasses. While this is fun history, all you need to know is that this is a delicious dessert with great texture due to the cornmeal.
