Beverages » Citrus Garnishes
Lemon twists and orange slices look nice placed casually in a cocktail. But don't overlook the nuanced flavors citrus oils add to a beverage. Coat the rim of a glass with a lemon twist. Squeeze its precious oils into a drink. Even fire up an orange peel! Citrus is more than just a pretty peel.

Hold the peel on the side, not the top and bottom like I was. Keeps your fingers out of the way of the match and lets you hold it closer to the flame. 2. Get good oranges! Unfortunately, that one was really dry, but you'll see a much larger flame from an orange that has more citrus oil to share. Please give it a try, you'll be surprise with how well it works. Enjoy your cocktails, everyone! a.
