- Must use a local, in-season produce item as a prominent ingredient (apples, pears, squash, etc.). Visit your local farmers’ market or Verrill Farm for inspiration.
- Must bring 1 dessert to feed at least 8 people, and recipe with ingredients and instructions listed.
- All entries must be in disposable containers covered with clear plastic wrap and must not require refrigeration, for safe handling. No recipe, container or entry will be returned.
- Cooks of all ages, from all areas are invited to enter the contest. Each contestant may enter only 1 item in each category, but are welcome to enter all categories.
- Must sign release form to say your recipe is original.
- Must have dessert at the dessert table by 2pm. Judging will commence at 3pm.
- Failure to follow the rules may result in disqualification.
