Salsa 101

Makes about 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 1 large ripe tomato, diced
  • ½ cup pineapple, diced
  • ½ cup mango, diced
  • 2 tbsp fresh-squeezed lime juice (about 1 lime)
  • ½ cup red onion, minced
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, minced (remove seeds for less heat)
  • ½ cup chopped cilantro
  • drizzle of olive oil
  • pinch of salt

How-to

  1. Combine all the ingredients and stir thoroughly
  2. Serve with fish or steaks as a side or condiment or pile high on Andy's Chicken  Chicharrónes
