Arika's Sweet & Smoky Rubbed Alaskan Salmon
Ingredients
- 1 large sockeye salmon fillet (also known as red salmon – from Prince William Sound, Alaska)
- olive oil
- 2 tsp Arika's Special Salmon Rub (see below)
Arika's Special Salmon Rub
- 4 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp kosher salt
- 1 tbsp thyme
- 1 tsp black pepper
How-to
- Remove skin from salmon and cut into smaller 4-6" fillets (about 7 oz each)
- Coat each fillet with olive oil and 2 tsp Arika's Special Salmon Rub
- Heat olive oil in sauté pan over medium-high heat
- Cook salmon for approximately 4 minutes on each side
