The Ronie Burger
Makes 10 burgers
Ingredients
- 5 lbs ground beef
- 8 oz chopped jalapeno
- 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
- 10 slices pepper jack cheese
- 10 hamburger buns
Condiments
- lettuce
- tomato
- ketchup
Roasted Potatoes
- 4 potatoes, sliced into bite-sized pieces
- 1 red onion, sliced
- olive oil
- salt
How-to
The Burgers
- Form ten ½ lb burger patties
- Grill burgers 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare (Ronie recommends medium-rare for the best burger)
- Toast bun at 350º for 5 minutes
- Garnish with lettuce, tomato and ketchup
The Roasted Potatoes
Step 1:
- Preheat oven to 350º
- Slice 4 potatoes into bite-sized pieces and place on cookie sheets
- Drizzle olive oil over potatoes and coat them evenly with your hands
- Salt the potatoes
- Roast for 2 hours at 350º
Step 2:
- Coat pan with canola oil
- Saute 1 sliced red onion
- Add to the roasted potatoes and serve
