Spinach, Salami, Provolone Calzone

Serves 2-4

Ingredients

  • 1 bag pizza dough
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • ½ lb provolone cheese
  • ¼ lb salami
  • 6-8 cups spinach, washed, dried, spine removed
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • sprinkle of water

How-to

  1. Preheat oven to 350º
  2. Sprinkle flour on a flat surface
  3. Roll the dough into a rectangle
  4. Evenly spread cheese, salami, then spinach
  5. Gently roll, tucking in the sides
  6. Seal edge of dough with a sprinkle of water
  7. Baste with the beaten egg
  8. Bake for approximately 30-40 minutes or until top is golden brown
