Pineapple Vodka
Makes 1 liter
Ingredients
- 1 pineapple (should be very ripe), peeled, cored & cut into 1" pieces
- 1 liter vodka
Special Equipment
- container for infusing
- fine mesh strainer or coffee filter
- 1 liter-sized glass bottle or container for storing
How-to
- Skin, core and cut pineapple into 1” pieces
- Place pineapple in infusion container (any freezer-safe container) and freeze for at least 3 hours
- Remove from freezer and add vodka, making sure the fruit is completely submerged
- Cover and store at room temperature for 7 days; there is no need to refrigerate the mixture
- Strain through a fine mesh strainer or coffee filter, and bottle
- Store at room temperature
