Mexican Hot Chocolate
Ingredients
- 2.75 oz (approximately ⅓ cup) Mexican style chocolate (Taza chocolate includes Mexican chocolate with cinnamon or almonds, perfect for this tasty beverage)
- 16 oz water (just below boiling)
Special Equipment
- molinillo (a Mexican whisk - any regular kitchen whisk will do but this one is so festive!)
- pitcher for the hot chocolate
How-to
- Grate the chocolate
- Pour the water into the pitcher
- Pour the chocolate into the hot water
- Whisk and froth the hot chocolate
- Pour and serve!
