Hazelnut Hot Chocolate
Makes 4 (10-oz each) servings
Ingredients
- 4 cups whole milk
- ¼ cup high-quality Dutch cocoa powder
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ cup malted milk powder
- ½ cup (3 oz) chocolate chips, 60% cocoa
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- ¼ cup chocolate hazelnut spread

How-to
- Bring the milk to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat (will take 5-10 minutes - milk will bubble and foam)
- While the milk is heating, in the container of a blender, combine cocoa, sugar, malted milk powder, chocolate chips, vanilla extract, salt and hazelnut spread
- When the milk has come to a boil, carefully pour into the blender
- Remove the center cap from the the blender lid (to help steam escape) and hold a towel over the lid before blending
- Begin blending, starting on low speed and gradually increasing to high speed, from 30 seconds to 1 minute total
