Canadian Clubhouse Punch
Serves 12
Ingredients
- thin peel of 2 oranges
- ¼ cup sugar
- 6 oz fresh lemon juice
- 2½ cups orange juice
- 2 tsp orange extract
- 4 oz blackberry brandy or liqueur
- 1 bottle (750 ml) Canadian Club Whisky
- block of ice
- 1 orange, halved & sliced
How-to
- Freeze a block of ice overnight for the punch bowl (inside a large tupperware bowl works best)
- In a large punch bowl, mash orange peels and sugar. Add orange juice and lemon juice and stir until sugar dissolves
- Add orange extract, liqueur or brandy and whisky. Stir to combine. Cover and refrigerate for 2-4 hours, or overnight
- Take punch out of refrigerator and remove orange peels with a slotted spoon. Place block of ice in a punch bowl and float orange slices, or garnish each punch cup with a slice
