Tuna Poke
Serves 3-4 as an appetizer
Ingredients
- 8 oz "#1 sushi-grade" tuna
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sambal olek (spicy chili sauce)
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp chopped scallions
- pinch of sesame seeds
- salt & pepper (if needed)
Suggested Garnishes
- bloomed, chopped seaweed
- sesame seeds
- chopped scallions
- lime wedge
How-to
- Slice tuna thinly with a sharp knife, then cut each slice into small cubes
- In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients together, coating all pieces of tuna
- Plate and serve immediately. Garnish with sesame seeds, scallions and a lime wedge
