Tiki Wings
Serves 2-3 as an appetizer
Ingredients
- 9-10 chicken wings
- ½ cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tbsp sambal olek (spicy chili sauce)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- canola oil to fill 3" in small to medium pot
- 2 tbsp shredded coconut (fresh or sweetened)
- mint & basil leaves, torn

- lime wedges
How-to
Prepare Sauce
- In a large bowl, mix sweet chili sauce, sambal olek and sesame seeds
Fry & Assemble Wings
- Fill a small to medium-sized pot 3" with canola oil and heat to 350°
- Fry chicken wings 5-6 minutes until golden
- Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil
- Toss wings in chili sauce mixture and plate
- Top with shredded coconut, torn basil and mint leaves and garnish with lime wedges
