Ceviche
Ingredients
- ½ lb tilapia
- 5 limes
- 2 lemons
- ½ red onion, diced
- 5 cloves garlic, diced
- ¼ bunch cilantro, chopped
- ½ green bell pepper, diced
- 1 hot pepper, diced
- 2 Roma tomatoes, cut into wedges
- salt & pepper to taste
- water
How-to
- Fillet the tilapia and place in a bowl of cold water and salt for about 10 minutes
- Pat dry, debone and cut into bite-size pieces.
- Juice the limes and place them in a bowl with the fish
- Add diced onion and garlic
- Add chopped cilantro
- Remove seeds from bell pepper, dice and place in bowl
- Juice the lemons and combine with other ingredients
- Add diced hot pepper, season with salt and pepper
