Ceviche

Ingredients

  • ½ lb tilapia
  • 5 limes
  • 2 lemons
  • ½ red onion, diced
  • 5 cloves garlic, diced
  • ¼ bunch cilantro, chopped
  • ½ green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 hot pepper, diced
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, cut into wedges
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • water

How-to

  1. Fillet the tilapia and place in a bowl of cold water and salt for about 10 minutes
  2. Pat dry, debone and cut into bite-size pieces.
  3. Juice the limes and place them in a bowl with the fish
  4. Add diced onion and garlic
  5. Add chopped cilantro
  6. Remove seeds from bell pepper, dice and place in bowl
  7. Juice the lemons and combine with other ingredients
  8. Add diced hot pepper, season with salt and pepper
